 Mission Statement

Guppy Golf's mission is to enhance the lives of children of all abilities ages 3 - 6 by providing a safe and fun environment to experience the outdoors, exercise and social skills that the game of golf inherently provides.

               

 

C.H.I.P. Life Skills

C.H.I.P. life skills are stressed in each and every Guppy Golf class/field trip/campuppy Golf Programs     CHIP stands for the following life skills:  Compliments, Helpfulness, Introductions, and Patience ...  Golf is a sport that naturally teaches important CHIP life skills and values that kids of all ages and abilities can use for the rest of their lives.

       Location Santa Barbara Golf Club     

                             Field Trip Classes are held on many Wednesdays mornings during the school year  from 10am - 11am at Santa Barbara Golf Club.  All preschools, day care centers, and/or groups of friends are welcome to hold a Field Trip class.    Field Trip Classes are 60 minutes long and cost $10 per student.  Parent volunteers are needed to conduct class safely !  For more information on how to sign up, etc, please click on the Information icon.

Ongoing Regular Classes

               Regular Classes are 60 minutes long and cost $15 per class.  Sign up and pay for 5 classes in one transaction and get a 6th class for free ($13 per one hour class).   The classes are held at Santa Barbara Golf Club on many Wednesdays at 3:30pm.  Parent volunteers are mandatory to conduct classes safely !  For more information on regular classes and how to sign up, etc, please click on the Information icon.

             

 Summer Guppy Golf Camps 

Guppy Golf Camps are offered duringthe summer at Santa Barbara Golf Club.  The camps are 3 hours long for 3 days (Tuesdays - Thursdays) and cost $100 for the three days ($11 per hour).  To see the camp dates and other details like how register and sign up, etc, please click on the Information icon.

 

On Course Play Days      

                   

On Course Play Days will be held periodically throughout the year on Wednesday mornings from 10am - 11am out on the golf course.  During Play Days, the kids experience pure joy and camaraderie while chasing a white ball around until it ends up in the cup!  All parents need to attend in order to help transport the kids and clubs for the 3 hole experience.  Look for Play Days dates and times under the "Schedule" icon.

      

Scholarships

There are scholarships are available for eligible students in each program offered.   Log on to website and click on ‘Scholarships’ icon for eligibility criteria, then fill out and send in the required CONFIDENTIAL paperwork to request a scholarship.    Scholarship spots fill up quickly, so expect some kind of waiting period to get into a class, field trip, sampler class, camp or on course play day experience.
